RESOLVED VESSEL: the 1793 Eliza reconnaissance (Francisco de Eliza commanding overall on the Activa) surveyed the coast Juan-de-Fuca-to-San-Francisco; Juan Martínez y Zayas commanded the consort goleta Mexicana and charted Trinidad Bay (inshore work by ship's boat); his chart is reproduced in Wagner. Previously logged as "(unnamed vessel)".
